CELEBRITY MasterChef fans have slammed an “unfair” task from final night time’s present that noticed the feminine stars cooking a harder meal than the males.

Actress Elizabeth Bourgine and Motown’s Martha Reeves had been challenged to cook lobster and pasta from scratch – whereas Olympian Greg Rutherford and boxer Dillian Whyte served up meatballs and gnocchi.

One viewer argued: “As someone who loves to cook, I’m suggesting homemade pasta and lobster with a bisque is definitely harder than meatballs, tomato sauce and gnocchi ..!!”

Another added: “There are probably professional chefs who would struggle to make lobster spaghetti from scratch.”

A 3rd mentioned: “This challenge seems a tad harsh, who in their right mind knows how to cook lobster bolognese from scratch?!”

Some time viewer wrote: “That was tough to expect them to know how to cook lobster!”

Judge Greg Wallace appeared to acknowledge the daunting task he’d set the girls, saying: “I am actually amazed as a result of neither of you two had ever ready lobster or made pasta.

“I have to congratulate both of you for getting dishes up at all.”

The 4 celebrities are a part of the newest line-up for the BBC present together with fellow actuality stars Vicky Pattison, Joey Essex and Love Island’s Dr Alex George.

Joey has claimed to be the shock hit on MasterChef this sequence and insists he goes “very far”.

The 28-year-outdated informed The Sun: “I’m so sick at cooking. I feel that is really why they provided me the job. I feel lots of people are in for a giant shock.

I’m quite one of them people who puts a lot of effort to a little dish.”

He added: “I can’t say too much but let’s just say I go very very far.”

The 4 celebrities will return to the programme to combat for his or her place within the semi-ultimate.
