Jalandhar: Three college students from Punjab, who have been pursuing increased research from a university in Canada, have been killed when their automobile met with an accident in Ontario.
The accident happened on Oil Heritage Road in Ontario late on Friday night time.
While the driving force was severely injured, the three college students — Tanvir Singh, Gurvinder and Harpreet Kaur — have been killed, household of one of many deceased instructed reporters right here.
The three college students have been stated to be round 20 years of age and hailed from Jalandhar and Gurdaspur districts.
Tanvir’s father Bhupinder Singh instructed reporters that his son had gone to Canada for increased research earlier this 12 months.
Harpreet Kaur and Gurvinder had gone to Canada in April.
“#LambtonOPP are investigating a triple fatal crash on Oil Heritage Line that happened at approximately 1:30 this morning. Roads in the area remain closed for an undetermined time to facilitate the investigation,” the Ontario Police’s communication division tweeted.
