Move over Pennywise – creepy clown The Jack’s again, and this time he’s right here to slay – within the sequel to the 2019 horror favorite The Jack within the Box. This time spherical The Jack makes a dreadful cope with a dying girl to make sure he will get his six victims.
Written and directed by Lawrence Fowler, the creator of the unique movie, that Geek Legion of Doom mentioned gave “Annabelle a run for her money”, it stars Matt McClure (Penny Dreadful), Nicola Wright (Devil Djinn), and James Swanton (Host, The Banishing) as The Jack. Mixing parts of Hellraiser and Killjoy with The Conjuring universe, and that includes excellent creature design, shocks a-lots and a few fantastically spooky places, this a cracking standalone sequel in what guarantees to be a protracted-operating and widespread horror franchise.
