BACOLOD CITY – A tricycle driver was discovered lifeless in a secluded space of Barangay Cabatangan, Talisay City, Negros Occidental on Tuesday, March 24.

Lt. Ray Cordero, deputy chief of Talisay City Police Station, stated that Leonardo Bego, 56, was flagged down by two unidentified males when he handed by a sari-sari retailer in Barangay Cabatangan.
Cordero stated the perpetrators may have pretended to be his passengers, and waited for him to go by a secluded space earlier than they executed their dastardly plan.
When they reached their vacation spot, the passengers allegedly shot Bego, and fled, he added.
The sufferer was discovered in tricycle with two gunshot wounds in the pinnacle and chest.
Police recovered from the scene two empty shells of .45 caliber.
Cordero stated they dominated out the angle of theft behind the killing because the sufferer’s valuables have been intact.
He stated they’ve but to find out the motive, because the sufferer’s household claimed that he has no enemies.
