Chennai, Nov 13: The sequel to one in all Tamil cinema’s landmark movies, ‘En Rasavin Manasile’, it appears will occur solely next year.

If sources are to be believed, the challenge, which was eagerly anticipated by many and which was scheduled to start so much earlier this year, has now been pushed to next year because of actor Rajkiran, who performed the lead within the first half, being busy with quite a lot of different movies in the meanwhile.

Says a supply shut to the actor, “Rajkiran sir was shooting for a film that is being directed by Sargunam and featuring actor Atharvaa in the lead. With the untitled film that is being produced by Lyca Productions having come to an end, he is now busy with director Muthaiah’s film ‘Viruman’, featuring actor Karthi in the lead.”

After ‘Viruman’, the capturing of which is happening in Madurai in the meanwhile, the supply says Rajkiran has at the very least two different movies to end.

“It is only after that he will be able to take up the sequel to ‘En Rasavin Mansile’,” the supply informs.

In February this year, the actor-director had introduced that he can be taking part in the lead within the sequel to ‘En Rasavin Manasile’, which might be directed by his son Tipu Sultan Nainar Muhammad.

‘En Rasavin Manasile’, which was directed by Kasthuri Raja, the daddy of actor Dhanush, had a silver jubilee run when it launched in 1991. The movie, which featured Rajkiran and Meena within the lead, gave a break to all people related to it together with comic Vadivelu, who made his debut in it.
