May 20, (THEWILL) – The duo of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi and legendary music icon, Femi Kuti, have featured in a Yoruba Documentary, Bigger Than Africa, from the stables of US-based mostly  Nigerian Filmmaker, Toyin Adekeye.

The mission debuted final week on Netflix. It was premiered at a personal screening, which was held on the freedom park in Lagos.

At the occasion, media practitioners and humanities inclined personalities praised Adekeye for selling African tradition and eminent personalities on a world view.

The documentary is supposed to highlight the historic affect of Yoruba tradition and the way it transcends continents and connects the black diaspora.

Adekeye described the film as a crucial legacy for the Yoruba heritage.
