The Aamir Khan-starrer Lagaan was launched twenty years in the past on June 15. The actor-filmmaker says the movie formed him in some ways.
Lagaan was, is, and continues to be a tremendous journey for me. It has been a journey by which I’ve met thrilling new folks, made new associates, began relationships which have lasted over twenty years, shared a lot with these great folks, learnt a lot, skilled so many feelings, skilled a lot. This journey has formed me in so some ways, he stated.
Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the movie is about in 1893, throughout the late Victorian interval of India’s colonial British Raj. The story revolves round a small village in Central India, whose inhabitants, burdened by excessive taxes, settle for a problem to play a cricket match in opposition to a staff of British officers.
